Additional Features
- Featuring an extra-thick 1/8" (3.18mm) A2 steel plane iron for excellent edge retention.
- Thick 3mm blade and one-piece base and frog for reduced chatter and increased accuracy.
- Adjustable mouth controls the thickness of shavings. Thicker shavings for heavy cuts, or thinner shavings for finer cuts.
- “Norris-style” adjuster, with lateral locking feature, adjusts both the planing depth and its lateral angle for a perfectly level cut without slant.
- Easy-to-use solid, brass adjustments for smooth adjustments.
- Made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified cherry wood, the handle and knob are shaped to fit the hand naturally and comfortably, providing comfort in extended or repetitive use.
- Suitable for removing very fine shavings from a variety of wood types to leave a smooth finish, when used effectively, the “No. 4” Sweetheart™ Smoothing Bench Plane can produce a finish that equals or surpasses that made by conventional sandpaper.
